Effective Date: 12/01/2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern furniture pickup and recycling services (“Services”) provided by Home Pickup Service (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By booking a service, paying a deposit, or allowing our crew onto your property, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

1.1 We provide donation pickup, furniture removal, recycling and disposal, and hauling services to residential and commercial clients.
1.2 Services may include loading, hauling, donation pickup and recycling, and disposal of items described at the time of booking.
1.3 We reserve the right to refuse items that are unsafe, prohibited by law, or beyond our capacity (see Section 6).

2. Estimates, Pricing & Truck Minimums

2.1 Any price given over the phone, text, or online is an estimate only, based on the information you provide (condition, volume, weight, access, type of items).
2.2 Final pricing is confirmed on-site by our crew after they see the items and are identified and the condition is assessed.
2.3 We may charge by volume (how much space your items take in the truck), weight, item type, labor time, or a combination.

3. Scheduling & Arrival Window

3.1 We provide an arrival window (for example, 8–11 AM) and will make reasonable efforts to arrive within that time.
3.2 Actual arrival time may vary due to traffic, weather, or prior jobs. We’ll attempt to notify you of significant delays via call or text.
3.3 You are responsible for ensuring that a person 18 years or older is present on-site to approve pricing, sign any paperwork, and make payment.

4. Deposits & Payment

4.1 We may require a deposit or credit card on file to secure your booking.
4.2 Deposits are applied to your final invoice and may be non-refundable if you cancel without proper notice (see Cancellation Policy).
4.3 Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.4 We accept [cash, Zelle, credit/debit card, ACH].

5. Payment of Services

5.1 All payments of services rendered are nonrefundable. This includes recycling, removal and disposal services. These services may be scheduled in advance or once on-site when evaluating condition of items. If items are not in acceptable condition for donation, we can remove your items for a nonrefundable fee paid via cash, credit card, debit card or zelle.

6. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the start time of your appointment.
Cancellations or reschedule requests made inside 24 hours from the start of your arrival window may forfeit your booking deposit completely. No refund will be given.
If our crew arrives and we’re unable to complete the job due to access issues, safety concerns, or the items not matching what was described, the service fee will not be refunded.

Payment does not guarantee pick up of items. Condition of items assessed on-site.

10.1 Our crew will take reasonable care when removing items; however, removal work can sometimes cause minor scuffs, scratches, or marks, especially in tight spaces.
10.2 We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or structural issues (loose railings, weak floors, etc.).
10.3 For large or built-in items (e.g., wall units, appliances, fixtures), you acknowledge that limited space may increase the risk of minor damage.
10.4 Any damage claims must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of the job completion, with photos.
